Water Management Specialist Leader

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead water resources projects from initiation to completion, providing strategic advice to clients and councils.
  • Develop and implement stormwater management plans for local authorities, ensuring effective flood control measures.
  • Facilitate collaborative efforts at the intersection of Integrated Water Management (IWM), stormwater, and flood management, sustainability, planning, and urban greening initiatives.

As a key member of this specialist water group, you will bring technical expertise and community impact to complex projects. You will shape large-scale water initiatives, guiding clients and the internal team toward better outcomes.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Strong foundation in water resources, flood modeling, IWM, and urban stormwater.
  • Degree in civil or environmental engineering, with a focus on water management systems.
  • Deep understanding of how waterway health, flood risk, and stormwater systems interlink.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
  • Local experience in Melbourne's private sector, with 10-25 years' experience ideal.
