Family Reunification Specialist

Sydney-based opportunity to support families in need.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to supervise and facilitate safe family contact for children in care. This role involves working with diverse families, managing complex situations, and providing excellent customer service.

About the Role:

  • Transport and supervise family contact visits
  • Write clear, detailed reports after each visit
  • Support case plans with social workers
  • Identify and report child protection concerns
  • Manage challenging situations with professionalism

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Community Services (or related field) preferred but not required
  • Valid Driver's Licence, WWCC, First Aid & NDIS clearance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage conflict and work with diverse families
  • Understanding of child safety laws and procedures
