About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team in the Department of Industry, Science and Resources. As a key member of our Digital Services team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of secure, user-friendly, and reliable solutions that meet stakeholder, citizen, and business expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Grants Platform section to assist, advise, and deliver technical outcomes and develop and maintain Azure-based web API and portal applications to support legislative reporting requirements and new regulatory processes.
  • Integrate various system components, apply secure coding practices, and conduct peer reviews of code and infrastructure.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and departmental standards, and core against detailed application architecture documents.
  • Create and review technical/release documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work within a cross-functional, agile team, mentor team members, and promote professional development.
  • Develop CRM modules and workflows, configure CRM connectors, and customise the CRM interface.
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary agile project team and provide input to technical design documentation.
  • Perform leadership and mentoring tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience (Min 5 years) implementing secure customer-facing web-based business solutions using C#,.NET Framework (including.NET Core), Web APIs and Angular or React.
  • Experience with unit, integration, automation testing. (xUnit, nUnit, Selenium, Playwright.Net).
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and configuring D365 modules, external data source connectors, CRM workflows, data migration and developing CRM security models based on documented user stories/requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing PaaS and SaaS Azure cloud-based solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Manager, and SharePoint Online, including code deployment, management, CI/CD deployments with Azure DevOps, and integration with third part systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Familiarity with the Information Security Manual (ISM), its controls, and their application in solution design and build.
