Job Description

In this critical position, you will provide technical support domestically, including travel, with some international opportunities available. You will be responsible for installing and supporting Emanate Technology's IT, Network, and Communications systems, as well as reviewing and maintaining installation documentation of various ICT systems.

You will work under limited supervision individually or in a team environment, engaging with a variety of stakeholders at all levels. Your strong willingness to learn and ability to think laterally to investigate and solve undocumented problems are essential skills for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support domestically, including travel, with some international opportunities available.
  • Install and support Emanate Technology's IT, Network, and Communications systems.
  • Review and maintain installation documentation of various ICT systems.
  • General technical work and advice.
  • Additional duties as required in relation to ICT technical installations and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require formal qualifications or relevant industry experience in any of the following:

  • Complex ICT Systems.
  • Desktop – capable of install/support of end-user compute software and hardware.
  • Printers – capable of installation and troubleshooting hardware and software.
  • UPS – understanding of Uninterruptible Power Supply function and installation/maintenance.
  • Physical Network and Server infrastructure – base understanding and operability of network and server devices and distribution cabling.
  • Logical Network – working knowledge of network routing and switching, including core concepts such as DHCP, subnetting, VLANs – or the ability to acquire.
