Key Duties:

  • In collaboration with the management team, supervision of operations ensuring compliance with all standards, policies and procedures and legislative requirements
  • High level focus on food safety and infection control through implementation and monitoring of relevant safety and hygiene procedures and practices
  • Monitor food quality and service with particular focus on the Mental Health Centre
  • Manage the roster including shift coverage and accurate payroll data entry
  • Effectively communicate and liaise with multiple client stakeholders
  • Maintain strong focus on patient/customer satisfaction
  • Monitor stock and waste control processes
  • Facilitate on the job staff training where required

The Person:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role
  • Certificate 3 Commercial Cookery qualification and willingness to undertake cooking duties when required
  • Established positive and proactive people management skills
  • Solution focused outlook with a keen eye for detail
  • Well-developed accurate and professional administrative skills
  • Large team rostering experience
  • Experience in internal and external healthcare centred auditing processes
