About the Role

The Data, Systems and Information Management Branch is seeking a highly motivated and skilled GIS Data Analyst to join their team. As a GIS Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting existing geospatial systems and data that underpin the department's priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and manipulate data assets to uphold metadata and data quality standards
  • Contribute to a positive hybrid team environment and develop productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate insights and issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience working with geospatial data and related software applications, particularly ArcGIS Pro, Portal for ArcGIS and FME. They will also have the ability to work under limited supervision and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
