About the Role

The Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development is seeking a skilled GIS Data Analyst to join the Geospatial Services Section. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting existing geospatial systems and data that underpin the department's priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and visualise geospatial data assets, ensuring metadata complies with established standards.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment, working cooperatively and collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Develop productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes and a client-focus.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience working with geospatial data and related software applications, particularly ArcGIS Pro, Portal for ArcGIS and FME.
  • Ability to manage and manipulate data assets, upholding metadata and data quality standards.
  • Ability to effectively communicate insights and issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
