Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive briefings from Venue and Event Managers prior to the event
  • Deliver exceptional client and guest experiences across a range of events including cocktail parties, conferences, and sit-down dinners
  • Oversee service-related aspects of an event from set up, through to service and pack down
  • Lead a team of experienced waiters and bartenders
  • Support and work closely with the Service Management Team
  • Must be available between Tuesday – Friday, with Thursdays a must
  • Hours fluctuate weekly based on event schedules
  • 10-30 hours per week; minimum availability of 3 days/evenings per week

About You:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in hospitality in a team leader/supervisor capacity
  • Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Valid NSW RSA
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • A passion for executing amazing events

We are seeking a highly skilled Casual Functions & Events Supervisor to support our daily running of functions & events. As a supervisor, you will work closely with the Service Management Team and lead a team of experienced waiters and bartenders.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a can-do attitude. They will also possess valid NSW RSA certification and working rights in Australia.
