Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate patient care professional to deliver exceptional clinical nursing services.

This role involves supporting the nursing team in delivering safe and effective patient care, taking observations, documenting patient progress, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to the nursing team in delivering nursing care in an acute care environment.
  • Assisting patients by taking vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and oxygen saturation.
  • Documenting patient progress notes and clinical records in accordance with the plan of care and organizational protocols.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized environment, including room preparation and equipment cleaning.

We are interested in hearing from individuals who have:

  • A Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or currently studying a Bachelor of Nursing or a degree deemed appropriate.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and their carers.
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to unexpected changes.
  • Desirable: experience working with electronic medical records.
