**Job Summary**

This key retail leadership position oversees daily store operations, focusing on staff management and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Direct and control the day-to-day activities of a retail store, ensuring seamless execution of sales targets and service standards.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of retail staff to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Inventory and Visual Merchandising: Plan and implement visual displays and manage inventory levels to drive sales and optimize store appearance.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop effective marketing strategies based on market research and trends to attract customers.
  • Financial Management: Monitor revenues and expenses to make informed decisions that enhance store performance.

In addition to these responsibilities, this role involves resolving issues such as customer complaints, supply chain disruptions, and maintaining a fast-paced work environment under pressure with tight deadlines.

Requirements
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of work experience in retail management or a related field.
  • Proven supervisory experience managing 3-4 people.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a team environment.

Candidates must be energetic, possess good judgment, and have the ability to stand for extended periods. Eligibility for this role includes being a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident with a valid work permit.
