At eCl@t Kontor, we are developing unmanned maritime and air domain systems that leverage unsupervised autonomy for the delivery of long endurance, multi-mission capability to our customers. This requires Senior Robotics Engineers with deep experience delivering robotic systems.

The role involves leading design and implementation of perception and planning algorithms into vehicle system software to ensure safe navigation and effective operation of autonomous vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • We seek an experienced leader who will utilize advanced techniques in computer vision, sensor fusion, and machine learning to enhance perception and planning capabilities of our vehicles.
  • The successful candidate will develop software that runs on- and off-platform, using a variety of technologies.
  • This is a key opportunity for a senior engineer to contribute to the design and implementation of development processes for the initial delivery and subsequent iteration of robotic software, including full lifecycle testing.
  • Candidates must be able to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to integrate perception and planning technologies into vehicle architectures.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in C++ and/or Python software development is required.
  • Familiarity with autonomous vehicle hardware and sensors such as sonar, LIDAR, and cameras is necessary.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of at least one of: computer vision, sensor fusion, SLAM, motion planning, machine learning is expected.
  • Experience in a senior perception or planning role for the delivery of a robotic system is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with autonomous systems in the air, maritime or space domains would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and certification processes for autonomous systems would be desirable.
