Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our team on the Rigs and Well Services contract based in Toowoomba.
In this role, you will drive out to remote sites to support operations. Your primary responsibility will be to assist and mentor the onsite crew in implementing our health and safety management system.
We are looking for a professional with a passion for promoting safe and healthy working practices, along with a keen eye for identifying potential hazards and mitigating risks.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment and enjoy a great work-life balance with our 2-week on, 2-week off roster (15:13 roster).
Main Responsibilities:- Onsite Safety Oversight: Implement and monitor the Health and Safety Management System to ensure compliance across operations.
- Incident Investigations: Lead and conduct thorough investigations into any safety incidents to determine root causes and drive improvements.
- Risk Identification & Mitigation: Identify potential hazards and recommend practical solutions to mitigate risks.
- Onsite Mentoring: Guide and support the onsite crew in maintaining high safety standards and fostering a safety-first culture.
- A minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety (or equivalent) is required for this role.
- Prior experience as a Health and Safety Advisor, preferably in high-risk industries like oil and gas, is essential.
- Experience in incident investigations is also highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this position.
- A competitive salary of $95,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
