Role Description

The Role:

As an Educator in our Early Childhood centre, you will have the opportunity to work with children aged 0-5 years, fostering their cognitive and social development. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about education and working collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals.

  • Part-time position available working 25 hours per week
  • Max-term contract starting with potential for permanent role

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding outcomes
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for all children and staff members
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service through participation in quality assurance processes

Requirements
  • Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Children's Services approved by ACECQA
  • Strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Proven experience as an educator in an Early Childhood setting, working with children aged 0-5 years
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate
