Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an In-Home Support Worker.

As an In-Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients to live at home independently for as long as possible. Your primary responsibility will be to provide general household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds and washing.

In addition to household tasks, you may also be required to transport clients to appointments and shopping, prepare meals, and provide social support or respite for family/carers.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing personal care including showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)
  • Assisting with light meal preparation and serving
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for clients
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients and their families
Requirements
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to individuals in need
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people, including older adults and those with disabilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A reliable team player who can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety principles
  • Availability to work a varied roster, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts
