Carer Support Role

Empower carers to increase their individual agency and find practical steps towards self-identified goals through facilitated coaching.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and group facilitation coaching to carers, creating a welcoming environment that is real and empowering. Foster positive relationships with carers based on Wellways values and engage professionally with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Community engagement/networking and establishing referral pathways will be a key aspect of this role, working autonomously while being a supportive and flexible team member. Travel and occasional work outside of standard business hours may be required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Coaching, Counselling, Community Services or related field.
  • Previous experience with group development and facilitation is advantageous.
  • Right to work within Australia.
  • Current valid Driver's Licence and ability to undertake travel.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (free online course).
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Working with Children's Check (Employee/Paid).
