Nurse Agency Operations Assistant

An Operations Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring client shifts are filled and the workforce is well supported.
Responsibilities:- Manage daily shift bookings and allocate staff to client needs.
- Maintain strong communication with nurses, carers, and healthcare facilities.
- Advertise, interview, and onboard new agency nurses and carers.
- Support new recruits through their first months to build engagement and retention.
- Keep accurate records, compliance checks, and system updates.
- Assist in process improvements that ensure efficient workforce utilisation.
- Experience in agency nursing, healthcare recruitment, or operations.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident using MS Office and rostering/booking systems.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and people-focused mindset.
- Able to problem-solve, work well under pressure, and match the right staff to the right shifts.
- Relationship-driven and motivated by supporting both clients and nursing teams.
