Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our team at Sofitel Adelaide. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Guest Interactions: Provide warm and welcoming service to our guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process Reservations: Accurately process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations, ensuring all necessary information is updated in our system.
  • Upsell and Promote: Offer personalized recommendations to our guests, promoting our hotel's facilities and services to enhance their stay.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with our front desk team to ensure seamless communication and a high level of service delivery.
  • Meet Quality Standards: Maintain the highest standards of quality, ensuring our guests receive exceptional service and a memorable experience.

Requirements:

  • Guest Service Focus: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service and a commitment to ensuring our guests feel valued and cared for.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests and team members.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using property management systems, with experience in Opera or similar systems an asset.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
