Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Allied Health Assistant to join our team at SA Health. As a key member of our Community and Allied Health unit, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality early childhood services on Kangaroo Island.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Allied Health professionals in providing assessment, treatment, and group programs for children aged 0-5 years.
  • Set up and maintain treatment areas, prepare resources and equipment, and provide assistance during therapy sessions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support the development and well-being of young children.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for children and their families.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and their families.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional care and support.
  • Previous experience in an early childhood or allied health setting is advantageous, but comprehensive training will be provided.
