The role of a Geological Modeller is integral to the completion of geological models and resource estimates for our deposits. This involves providing updated resource models and reports, as well as ensuring mine geology processes are optimised through collaboration with site teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining accurate geological models and resource estimates.
  • Collaborating effectively with site teams to ensure mine geology processes are operating at maximum efficiency.
  • Providing input for the assessment of exploration assets and contributing to the End-of-Month reconciliation process.
  • Working closely with stakeholders across Engineering, Metallurgy and Geology to achieve common goals.
  • Conducting geological evaluations and producing high-quality reports.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Geology or a related discipline.
  • Operational experience in open pit and underground gold operations.
  • Proficiency in technical skills required for resource modelling, including competency in modelling software.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
