Job Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team responsible for the maintenance, preparation, and renovation of turf surfaces at a premier sports facility.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively under pressure to meet deadlines. They will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of surfaces and delivering year-round maintenance and preparation services.

A Certificate III in Horticulture or a related area is essential, along with current class C driver's licence and experience in high-standard sporting field preparation and other areas including common reserves and landscaping.

Desirable qualifications include experience in sand profile sports fields, turf wickets, softball and baseball diamonds, and Senior First Aid Certificate. The successful candidate will also have the ability to work flexible hours and within a team environment.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Horticulture (Turf), Sports Turf Management or a related area
  • Current class C driver's licence
  • Experience and knowledge of high-standard sporting field preparation and other areas including common reserves and landscaping

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance and preparation of sand profile sports fields, turf wickets, softball and baseball diamonds
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work flexible hours and within a team environment
