About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lifestyle and Community Coordinator to join our team at Dental Corporation. As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of person-centered leisure and lifestyle programs, promoting emotional and physical rehabilitation, and providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of recreational activity officers to promote holistic wellbeing and provide residents with quality care.
  • Develop and implement person-centered recreational activity programs that cater to individual resident needs, values, spiritual, and cultural preferences.
  • Collaborate with other team members to plan and organize recreational activities, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Complete documented assessments to determine resident capabilities, needs, and problems, and develop individualized care plans.
  • Comply with infection control and work health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or degree-level qualifications in a related field.
  • Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Previous experience in a similar role caring for the elderly within an aged care setting.
  • Highly developed organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to solve problems independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.
