Mining Engineer Lead

BHP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mining Engineer to join our team as a Lead Mining Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to our mining engineers, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and support to mining engineers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of mining operations.
- Develop and implement mine plans and schedules to meet production targets.
- Collaborate with production coordinators and operations teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Identify and implement production planning improvement initiatives to optimize mine performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in mining engineering, with experience in mine planning and operations. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams.
