Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in a casual role with the opportunity to progress to full-time. As an integral part of our operations, you will be working from our modern and safe facilities at the Crestmead depot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing vehicle servicing and inspections;
  • Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical faults;
  • Maintaining a safe and organized workshop environment;
  • Undertaking mechanical repairs as required;

Requirements:

  • Trade qualifications as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic (essential);
  • Experience working with trucks and trailers (essential);
  • Welding and Fabrication experience (desirable);
  • Ability to document, record, and track vehicle servicing and maintenance;
  • Commitment to OH&S/WHS policies, procedures, and regulations;
  • Reliability and honesty; and
  • Great work ethic.
