Senior Marketing Communications Officer: Crafting Compelling Stories

We are seeking an experienced marketing communications specialist or copywriter to lead large-scale projects, manage stakeholders, and develop product marketing content in a long-form and short-form capacity. This role supports the delivery of communications strategies that contribute to the recruitment of prospective students within Business and Law.
As a Senior Marketing Communications Officer, you will draw on a diverse range of people, groups, and resources to identify new or improved opportunities, processes, and ways of doing things to enhance organisational strategy. You will investigate and probe for facts and identify relevant solutions, selecting the most appropriate from the range of alternatives.

About the PositionThis is a part-time (0.6 FTE, 3 days a week) and fixed-term position until 27th June 2025. The remuneration package includes $89,012 - $96,126 + 17% Superannuation (pro rata, part time). Flexible location is available.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop high-quality content that aligns with brand, style, and tone of voice requirements.
- Manage and collaborate with Faculty and academic stakeholders to extract key information for marketing.
- Investigate and probe for facts to identify relevant solutions and select the most appropriate options.
- Draw on a diverse range of people, groups, and resources to identify new or improved opportunities.
To be successful, you'll have an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. You should possess knowledge of the digital marketing landscape and content requirements for each media channel. Experience in adapting complex information and ideas for various audiences and channels is essential.
You will also need to have extensive experience copywriting and editing content across print, digital, and social marketing channels, as well as experience across various social media platforms, including content management, analysis, and performance optimisation.
