Drilling Operations Specialist

Job Title: Drilling Operations Specialist

Location: Flexible work arrangements – Ideally for candidates based in New South Wales or Victoria but open to other states.

Job Type: Permanent Staff – 2/2 rota, 5 weeks additional annual leave, up to 5% bonus with opportunity to progress.

Job Description:

Our cutting-edge operation in NSW is seeking experienced drilling operations specialists. You'll be part of a 24/7 extraction team deploying innovative underground mining technology using Maxi HDD rig platforms. The role requires the ability to operate and maintain horizontal directional drilling (HDD) equipment, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on drilling equipment, ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and work effectively with the drilling crew and site supervisors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience in HDD operations (Vermeer, Ditch Witch, or similar equipment preferred)
- Gyro experience advantageous
- Pason (or similar) software experience preferred
- Experience with other heavy machinery is a bonus
- Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
