Are you a skilled plant operator with experience across a range of equipment including excavators, backhoes, graders and skid steers? Do you have a strong background in delivering high-quality civil construction projects such as roads, stormwater systems, bridges, and drainage structures? If you're committed to working safely, efficiently and in line with established systems and confident in mentoring others and stepping into leadership when required then this could be the opportunity you're looking for
The Specialist Construction Operator is responsible for:
- Applying specialist operational knowledge, skills and abilities in undertaking a wide variety of civil construction work across the region
- Assisting in the mentoring and/or instruction of staff in the operation plant, equipment and construction techniques, procedures and processes
- Controlling the activity on the construction site in the absence of the Supervisor.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
- Certificate III in Civil Construction, Plant or similar OR equivalent experience in a related field (typically at least 5 years)
- Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver Licence
- OHS Construction Induction Card
- RTA Traffic Control Certificate Stop/Slow Bat(Blue)

Salary range: Grade 9 -$1243.30 - $1345.40 per week plus superannuation for a 38 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a Pre-employment Medical Screening including Alcohol & Other Drugs Testing.
