About the Position

We are seeking a weekend ward clerk with exceptional customer service and time management skills to join our team.

This role provides the opportunity to provide outstanding front line customer service to clients and support clinical teams in a dynamic environment.

As a ward clerk, you will work closely with mental health professionals to deliver high-quality administration support using various systems and databases.

The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills and be able to prioritise workloads effectively.

We require a part-time ward clerk to work every Saturday and Sunday 8.00 - 4.30pm.

About You
  • You are a dedicated and compassionate individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
  • As a clear communicator, you can build rapport easily with others and work well within a team.
  • You are an experienced healthcare administrator who can work autonomously and efficiently manage a range of administration responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years administrative experience (experience in a mental health setting is highly desirable)
  • Friendly and helpful customer service and communication skills
  • Proven organisational skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Demonstrable ability to manage multiple administration responsibilities across various areas
  • A quality focus while ensuring work is completed within required timeframes
  • Ability to travel to all sites
  • Standards of thoroughness, accuracy, and speed
