Proactive Injury Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Injury Management Professional to join our team. As an Injury Management Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting employees with medical conditions affecting their ability to work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate an in-house injury management service for employees with compensable and non-compensable medical conditions.
- Provide expert operational and strategic advice to ensure effective case management and assist worksites in developing risk management strategies.
- Formulate and implement proactive policies, guidelines, and projects to minimize costs associated with workers' compensation and employee health-related absences.
- Monitor and oversee the quality of services provided by external vocational rehabilitation providers and contractors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants must hold a recognized tertiary qualification in a related discipline. Additionally, they must have a valid Class C Western Australian Driver's Licence and be willing to undertake travel to metropolitan and regional schools.
Applicants must also demonstrate eligibility to work with the Department of Education and meet travel requirements during the recruitment process.
