Job Title: Emergency Management Lead

An exciting opportunity to work in emergency management, leading the development and implementation of lessons management to strengthen capacity to withstand, plan for, respond to and recover from emergencies.

  • The role will manage the development and implementation of a lessons management framework, lead the State Lessons and Evaluation Unit at the State Control Centre, and provide strategic advice to senior decision makers and emergency management agencies on lessons management and continuous improvement.
  • The successful candidate will have an understanding of emergency services operations, knowledge of emergency management arrangements, and demonstrated experience in designing and implementing a lessons management and/or learning and improvement framework.
