Strawberry Packing Room Manager

This role is focused on overseeing the efficient operations of our packing facility.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a group of packing room staff to ensure timely and accurate execution of all packing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of packing room staff.
  • Coordinate and oversee all packing operations.
  • Monitor and maintain product quality throughout the packing process.
  • Develop and implement efficient packing room workflows to optimise productivity and minimise waste.
  • Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of packing equipment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination and communication.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a managerial role within the agricultural industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and optimising workflows.
