About the Role

As a key member of the Diageo team, you will play a vital role in driving manufacturing excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the implementation of the Manufacturing Management System (MMS) change journey, ensuring seamless collaboration across the senior leadership team.
  2. Analyze data effectively to identify and deliver improvement opportunities, driving performance, standards, and capability.
  3. Provide subject matter expertise on MMS, offering strategic guidance and contributing to the Diageo ISC change programme.
  4. Ensure alignment of Diageo strategy with site objectives, fostering a culture of excellence.
  5. Advocate for good governance and compliance, emphasizing the importance of health, safety, quality, and environment.
  6. Develop and drive the implementation of the site plan, collaborating with the site management team.
  7. Coach managers at all levels to implement MMS methodologies, driving highly reliable, high-quality, safe, and cost-effective results.
  8. Maintain alignment between supply chain departments, coordinating MMS deployment.
  9. Provide guidance and support to the SSC for effective implementation of MMS.
  10. As part of the site steering committee, coach managers to develop teams, producing performance results through MMS practices.
  11. Set clear improvement strategy for the site, leading change management processes and providing expert loss and waste leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science-related discipline or equivalent through relevant experience.
  • NEBOSH qualification.
  • Relevant IBD qualification or willingness to complete within 12 months.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in a world-class FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or Manufacturing Excellence.
  • Strong understanding of packaging, processing, and plant technologies.
  • Proven champion of manufacturing excellence leadership, management, tools, and techniques.
  • Proven ability to build high-performance teams, setting performance standards and coaching development.
  • Proven track record as a great coach with strong engagement and communication skills.
  • Sound and proven financial acumen.
