Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Central Coast Council. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our water supplies and protecting the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct analysis on water and wastewater samples to ensure compliance with Australian Drinking Water Guidelines and EPA Licence conditions.
- Monitor the impact of various activities on the environment and ensure the laboratory is organised and maintained at all times.
- Plan and undertake routine and non-routine sampling and testing functions, and record results on relevant databases and systems.
- Associate Diploma qualification in Laboratory Technology or related field, or demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Current Class C Drivers Licence.
- Valid Construction General Induction card- NSW SafeWork or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
