Job Title: Customer Service Representative

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and ensure that all interactions are professional and courteous.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing a friendly and responsive point of contact for customers;
  • Responding to customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Accurately registering and recording customer requests using computer systems;
  • Performing administration and cashiering duties under supervision;
  • Proactively advising and recommending online services and information to customers;
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities

The following key responsibilities are essential to the success of this role:

  1. Customer Contact:
  • Provide a central point of contact for customers;
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner;
Administration:
  • Accurately register and record customer requests using computer systems;
  • Perform administration and cashiering duties under supervision;
Cashiering:
  • Reconcile cash transactions accurately;
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential, as is a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills.

You will also need to have:

  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities;
  • Sound administration and clerical experience, including cash handling and reconciliation;
  • Experience in Reception and Call Centre operations;
  • Well-developed computer literacy, including experience with databases and software programs;
  • Able to think laterally to source accurate information quickly and effectively.
