Job Title: Youth Support Specialist
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young people and their families. As a dedicated Youth Support Specialist, you will be working with students and their families in North Queensland, providing mental health and wellbeing support.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and develop tailored care plans.
- Connect clients with local resources and services that cater to their specific requirements.
- Promote and advocate for the rights of clients, ensuring they receive the support they deserve.
- Offer emotional support and guidance through regular counselling sessions.
- A degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Registration as a Social Worker is essential.
- Previous experience working with children and families is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role.
