About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Financial Crime Analytics team as a Delivery Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and delivery of monitoring and detection strategies within our AML/CTF Systems and Financial Crime Compliance Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and implement strategic and tactical responses to AML/CTF typologies, leveraging your expertise in data analytics and modelling.
  • Enhance AML/CTF System Detection and Customer Risk Management capabilities.
  • Provide support to AML Operations, Financial Crime Compliance and other internal initiatives and projects related to AML/CTF detection strategies.
  • Work alongside the manager to maintain a development and project roadmap for AML/CTF systems, ensuring alignment with current and future typologies.
  • Identify gaps and system performance issues whilst implementing supportive controls to remediate.
  • Deliver monthly operational and senior management reporting on AML/CTF & Fraud metrics, providing valuable insights to inform decision-making.
Requirements
  • Formal qualification in Technology, Information Systems or Data Analytics.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Analytics / Technical Analyst / Data Scientist role showcasing your ability to excel both independently and as part of a team.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, R or equivalent data analytics and modelling programming languages.
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau, PowerBI or equivalent data visualisation or reporting tool.
  • Previous experience in financial crime analytics highly desirable.
