We're seeking a Procurement Expert to join our Finance team based in Sydney. This pivotal role will deliver expert procurement support across our operations, ensuring value-for-money outcomes that are safe, timely, and commercially robust.

You'll lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, from developing category strategies to contract management. You'll work closely with partners across the business to understand operational needs, develop strategic sourcing approaches, and foster strong supplier relationships that drive performance and compliance.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs, risks, and expectations for informed procurement planning.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies tailored to the value and importance of goods and services being procured.
  • Prepare category spend profiles, lead market testing, conduct tenders, and manage briefings, scoring, recommendations, and negotiations.
  • Deliver presentations and briefings to suppliers, including participation in the annual supplier forum to enhance performance and establish new arrangements.
  • Manage contract development and implementation, resolve issues, monitor compliance, and oversee variations to ensure effective supplier relationships.
  • Provide governance support and guidance on procurement matters to promote best practices across the business.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract registers and procurement activity reports to meet organizational requirements.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your ability to navigate complex procurement environments and deliver sustainable outcomes will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
