Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager - Leisure Facilities to join our team at Belgravia Leisure.

About the Role:

  • Lead a high-performing team to ensure exceptional customer service and a safe environment for patrons across various leisure facilities.
  • Ensure pool plant systems are maintained, and water quality principles are applied effectively.
  • Act as the authoritative figure in managing incidents or emergency responses when on shift, with delegated authority from the Centre Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, chemical levels, and facility inspections.
  • Collaborate with staff to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance overall performance.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and training to ensure preparedness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, hospitality, or recreation management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a leisure or hospitality industry setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in operations management, staff supervision, and crisis management.
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) and Current CPR Certificate.
  • National Police Check and Pool Lifeguard Certificate required.
  • Possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Estimated Salary Range: AU$65,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
