We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to manage a critical industrial automation project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in delivering complex industrial automation projects.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the projects team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with project management processes. They will also be involved in project reviews, kickoffs, bid sign-offs, and sales handovers.

A key aspect of this role is ensuring the team operates in a safe manner and adheres to the company's values. The successful applicant will also develop strong relationships with all major stakeholders consistent with a construction project.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Complex industrial automation project delivery experience (A$100m+)
  • PMP certification or equivalent
  • Engineering-related tertiary or diploma education
  • Leadership of people with a technical engineering profile
  • Exceptional ability to develop and manage key stakeholder relationships from scratch
  • Ability to lead operational and maintenance personnel
  • Sound working knowledge of financial management and budgeting processes including the ability to estimate cost to complete and forecast cost at completion
  • Management of contractual and commercial issues such as variations
  • Proven experience in negotiation and conflict management
