Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead our industrial automation technology solutions business.

This is a key leadership role that requires strong project management skills, technical knowledge, and excellent stakeholder relationships.

  • Manage and oversee the Projects team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain high compliance to project management processes and be heavily involved in project reviews, kickoffs, and sales handovers.
  • Ensure the team operates safely and adheres to company values.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver complex industrial automation projects in brownfield environments.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders consistent with construction projects.
  • Develop strategies and establish structures to drive project success.
  • Lead all areas of the project, including project management, engineering, commissioning, and maintenance.
Requirements
  • A natural leader with a strong understanding of people-centred ethos.
  • Experience in delivering complex industrial automation projects (A$100m+).
  • PMP certification and engineering-related tertiary or diploma education.
  • Leadership of technical engineering profiles.
  • Exceptional ability to develop and manage key stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to lead operational and maintenance personnel.
  • Sound working knowledge of financial management and budgeting processes.
  • Management of contractual and commercial issues.
  • Proven experience in negotiation and conflict management.
