The role of Geotechnical Manager is a pivotal position within our organization, responsible for driving growth and success in Victoria. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in balancing commercial and technical outcomes for our clients.

This is an exceptional opportunity to develop your professional career and work closely with our team in SA and soils laboratory. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of a growing Geotechnical team, developing and maintaining client relationships, providing geotechnical advice, preparing quotes and tenders, conducting geotechnical investigations and assessments, supervising, mentoring, and peer reviewing the technical work of other team members, and interacting with our NATA accredited materials testing laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a growing Geotechnical team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Provide expert geotechnical advice and guidance.
  • Prepare and submit high-quality quotes and tenders.
  • Conduct thorough geotechnical investigations and assessments.
  • Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in civil/geotechnical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including report writing.
  • Flexibility to work in various locations, including the office, on-site, and interstate.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software packages is highly desirable.
