Project Director Position

Our team is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Director to lead the delivery of electrical projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and cost-effective completion of projects while maintaining quality standards, client satisfaction, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation through to handover, overseeing all aspects of project delivery.
  • Drive efficiency and accountability within the team, fostering a culture of excellence and delivering high-quality results.
  • Take ownership of commercial aspects, balancing costs, profitability, and decision-making impacts.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while maximising opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage diverse teams to achieve project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and deliver robust project start-up and quality plans.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 7–10 years' experience as a Project Manager delivering major construction projects.
  • A strong technical background as an Electrical Tradesperson or Engineer.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of building and managing self-performing teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (essential).
  • Australian Defence background is desirable.
  • MUST hold valid Australian Working Rights
