Job Title: Health Promotion Program Lead

Job Summary:

The Health Promotion Program Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating health promotion programs tailored to meet the unique needs of clients. This role involves collaborating closely with healthcare professionals, psychologists, and social workers to ensure programs are evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and compliant with relevant health regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop protocols and guidelines for each program, ensuring compliance with relevant health regulations and standards.
  • Organize heart-smart activities and exercises to promote physical fitness and cardiovascular health among patients.
  • Facilitate group sessions aimed at enhancing coping skills, emotional regulation, and overall mental wellbeing.
  • Collect and analyze data on program participation, outcomes, and patient feedback.
  • Foster partnerships with external organizations, community groups, and health agencies to enhance program reach and resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Community Health, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing health promotion programs, preferably in diverse or multicultural settings.
  • Strong knowledge of health education principles, behavior change theories, and program evaluation methods.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating leadership and problem-solving skills.
