Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated individual to contribute to the core functions of our routine microbiology service, including specimen reception and registration, sample processing and preparation, preliminary culture plate reading, and result reporting.

The laboratory is equipped with advanced technology, including automated antibiotic susceptibility testing and comprehensive molecular microbiology testing services. Opportunities exist to broaden expertise in Mycobacteriology, Mycology, and Parasitology.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in pathology services delivery, using Laboratory Information Systems and Quality Systems
  • Able to work efficiently and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Customer-focused approach with well-developed interpersonal skills and good communication skills
