We are seeking a highly skilled leader to join our Decision Modelling team in Brisbane.
About the Role- Lead complex financial modelling projects for various purposes such as management planning, strategic initiatives, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and corporate strategy.
- Identify key issues and propose effective strategies related to procedures executed.
- Assume a leadership role in report generation and detailed financial modelling with emphasis on analytical insights.
- Build and nurture positive, productive, and professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, mentor colleagues, stay informed about current business and economic trends relevant to clients, and leverage the latest technology and tools to enhance service delivery.
- Seek out new business opportunities, participating in client proposals and presentations to grow the practice.
- Mentor and develop junior team members through delegation and hands-on training, fostering an inclusive and innovative team environment.
- A bachelor's degree with around 8 years of relevant work experience, or a master's degree with approximately 7 years of related work experience.
- Exceptional numerical and analytical skills, preferably with a degree in IT, Engineering, Economics, Sciences, or Accounting & Finance.
- Highly desirable knowledge in venture capital, investment banking, commercial banking, strategy, and/or financial research.
- Experience in business development and stakeholder management.
- Strong financial modelling skills with the ability to create financial models based on strategic business plans.
- Ability to manage project expenditures against budget and revenue, and provide guidance to team members to ensure the completion of work deliverables.
