About the role
A disability services organisation located in the North Shore of Sydney are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Modeller to join the team on a temporary basis to support our Head of FP&A. This is an opportunity to apply your technical skills in a meaningful sector, working on multiple entity models and develop unique commercial experience.

The Role

In this role, you'll play a key role in developing and refining financial models that support budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and strategic investment. You'll collaborate with leaders across the organisation, translating business drivers into clear, accurate, and actionable financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain advanced three-statement financial models, including assumption schedules, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing
  • Develop whole-of-company budget models and long-term forecasts
  • Model cash flow, workforce planning, and capital expenditure
  • Provide financial evaluations at an entity level to support strategic decisions
  • Apply strong commercial acumen to link business strategy with financial outcomes
  • Contribute to special projects, including transaction finance and corporate finance initiatives
About You
  • Experience in Big 4 strong commercial finance background
  • Proven experience in business modelling and financial evaluations at an entity level
  • Exposure to transaction or corporate finance is highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of business drivers, revenue models, and cost allocation
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling best practice
  • Familiarity with accounting systems (NetSuite desirable)
  • Solid grounding in financial & management accounting, with an understanding of AASB/IFRS standards
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to translate strategy into practical financial outputs
