System Architect and Server Administrator

We are seeking an experienced System Architect and Server Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing system architecture for new and existing computer systems, ensuring optimal performance levels and data integrity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration and architecture, with experience in designing and implementing system solutions that meet the needs of our organization. You will be responsible for maintaining our computer systems' workflows, including upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, as well as resolving network issues and upgrading equipment.

You will also provide technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures, with a focus on moderate complexity system hardware and software troubleshooting. Additionally, you will train end users on proper hardware and software use, perform software installations and upgrades, and ensure workstation/server data integrity through standard solutions implementation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing system architecture for new and existing computer systems
  • Maintaining computer systems' workflows, including upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems
  • Providing technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures
  • Training end users on proper hardware and software use
  • Ensuring data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations

Requirements:

  • Mandatory Skills: Systems Administration, Systems Architecture
  • Certifications: IAT Level II, CompTIA Security+ CE
  • Experience: High School diploma or equivalent, 19 years of experience; Bachelor's degree, 14 years of experience
  • Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI Facility security clearance
