We're seeking a Consultant Adult Psychiatrist with subspecialty interest in forensic psychiatry to be based in Rockhampton, Central Queensland - a regional city which offers an ideal lifestyle and is the southern gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.

Role and Hospital:
The Psychiatrist will provide high-quality psychiatry services to consumers of the Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service and provide clinical leadership for the Mental Health clinical team.
Candidates with an interest in and/or certification in Forensic Mental Health including Prison Mental Health will be preferred. Consideration will be given to General Adult Psychiatrists. The provision of services for Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service is provided as one service, multiple sites.
Requirements
Applicants should be registered (or eligible for registration) as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and be a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent as an overseas-trained specialist who has completed their training in either the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA (ABPN certified) or New Zealand.
