We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join our team at CC Medical. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing advanced clinical care to children and young people up to the age of 18 years who present with mental disorders, alcohol and other drug issues, and emotional and/or behavioral problems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment and treatment services to children and young people, including those being treated under the Mental Health Act
- Offer services to rural communities and support the Child and Adolescent Court Liaison Forensic Mental Health Service
- Supervise and teach junior medical staff and medical students
- Participate in clinical governance activities
- Take part in the after-hours on-call roster, providing services to consumers across the full age range
