Regional Economic Development Specialist
Job Description:This role will play a key part in the delivery of economic benefits to local communities through the development and implementation of regional workforce strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance regional economic participation, including promoting local business and SME involvement.
- Supporting the implementation of workforce training initiatives, apprenticeships, and traineeships to meet government policy objectives.
- Embedding cultural awareness and community benefit initiatives across the project corridor.
- Providing accurate reporting and compliance monitoring in line with government requirements.
- Proven track record in implementing social outcomes and local benefits frameworks within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong knowledge of Queensland Government procurement, training, and social policy frameworks.
- Ability to influence outcomes through collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
