Expertise and Guidance

As a trusted advisor, you will provide expert guidance to senior professionals within our organisation, assisting them with complex financial and tax matters. This role requires a deep understanding of structuring for asset protection, tax optimisation, and succession planning.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for discretionary trusts, companies, and individuals.
  • Provide tailored taxation advice on personal income tax, capital gains tax, superannuation, and private company tax issues.
  • Manage the annual compliance process for multiple client groups.
  • Offer personalised structuring advice and coordinate the onboarding of new clients.
  • Train, mentor, and provide feedback to junior team members.
  • Share knowledge within the team to create efficiencies.
About You
  • Preferred experience in overseeing a portfolio of internal partners with complex financial and tax affairs.
  • Intermediate experience with financial statement preparation and review according to Australian Accounting Standards.
  • CA/CPA qualification or equivalent, with relevant tertiary qualifications or working towards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high organisational skills.
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Friendly, professional attitude, proactive, and collaborative team player.
  • High standard of integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
